WTC stands for wireless transfer communication.
The WTC-shoe connects an OEM FM-receiver with the hearing instrument. At schools for hearing impaired FM systems are often used in class. Mostly the school provides the FM-receiver and therefore a standard (OEM) FM-receiver is used with a Euro-pin connector. The hearing aid user then has a WTC-shoe that fits the specific hearing instrument.
